Compliance with the lockout/tagout standard preventsan estimated 120 fatalities and 50,000 injuries each year. Gaye Johnson, OSHA Safety Specialist, will help you understand the OSHA standard for The Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout). She will outline specific practices and procedures to implement on your plant floor that are necessary to disable machinery or equipment, thereby preventing the release of hazardous energy while employees perform servicing and maintenance activities.
